So when a Monday is as wet and cold as the last one, it would usually mean a case of the Monday Blues…but not, however, for the Catherine Elizabeth Team last week.

The day began with some of Yorkshire’s finest wedding providers, coming to together to showcase The Little Pearl Bridal’s latest addition to their collection. From vintage waves, to pretty metallics, the rain did not slow us down or hinder the fun. We had a wonderful day with some very talented professionals and we can’t wait to share the images with you!

Back at the studio, we did not do the usual and unpack the kit from a long day shooting. Instead, we were all action stations to make up ourselves this time for The Wedding Industry Awards 2017; for which we were very honoured to be finalists for both Hair and Make-up categories.

After an evening of cocktails and canapés, lots of smiles and catching up with some of the industry’s finest, we only went and won Highly Recommended Make-up Artist in Yorkshire and The North East!

We are unbelievably proud and excited, thank you again to everyone for all their continued support, here’s to onwards and upwards!

One beautiful day in August, Jenny and Eddie tied the knot and we couldn’t be prouder to share in Jenny’s morning ..

Jenny went for an elegant up do, with curls softly woven and little touches of gypsophila. Teamed with naturally defined eyes, glowing skin and that beautiful big smile of hers, she was more than photo ready!

Jenny’s lovely bridesmaids went for a similar make-up look with naturally defined eyes and that lovely dewy glow we all love, differing in hair from romantic chignons to waterfall braids. Not forgetting of course the very sweet duo of flower-girls and their soft, subtle curls.

We really fell in love with all of Jenny and Eddie’s finishing touches to their reception and thought they would deliver some serious wedding inspo for all you lovely brides to be!

We could hardly bare to whittle down these amazing images from our friends Dominic and Zoe at Dominic Wright Photography, but here they are, they most certainly do all the talking for us..
